A glorious expanse of glamping bliss with a French twist. Set in the charming Dorset countryside, this romantic retreat for two really is an idyllic escape to nature.
This magical location is host to two beautiful huts. Both ooze French flair and boast exceptional comfort. With a glorious mix of chic and elegant living, the stylish interiors, luxury linens, toiletries and under-floor heating are just some of the lavish touches for you to enjoy. The main hut holds the sumptuous king-size bed, a cosy wood burner to keep you warm on cooler evenings and the prettiest seating area. Hand carved wood details on the kitchen cupboards and dining table embrace all the charm this hand-crafted hut has to offer. The kitchen is also in here and has everything you need to whip us a tasty feast. Pour yourself a glass of red (make sure it's French) and prep a scrumptious cheese board to enjoy outside by the fire pit… pure bliss.
The second hut could be described as the snug. With another wood burner to light up and a comfortable sofa to sink into with a good book, it's the perfect place to unwind on lazy afternoons. The shower room is situated just next to the hut and looks out onto rolling pastures.
Outside, enjoy the peaceful views from the large terrace with a glass of fizz in hand - you will love al fresco dining here. On starry nights, while away the hours enjoying the warmth and crackles of the fire-pit with a mug of hot chocolate. You are free to explore the beautifully landscaped grounds and the owners' friendly sheep may want to say hello.
Out and About
The nearby village of Cattistock is a picturesque spot, nestled in quaint countryside; the real heart of Hardy country. There is a thriving community shop selling excellent local produce, a friendly pub and the church boasts the tallest church tower in Dorset. Dorchester, the county town, is a short drive away and still has a traditional weekly market.
Rolling west Dorset hills are sure to capture your heart whether you are exploring them on slow summer days, or crisp autumnal mornings. Wintertime calls for cosying up in hidden country pubs with a pack of cards and the spring brings an abundance of life and colour.
Your Dorset holiday would of course not be complete without a trip to the Jurassic Coast. Breathtaking golden cliffs await you at West Bay, or for sand between your toes head to Weymouth or Lyme Regis (a foodie heaven too). Sit and watch the sunsets as the rays glisten over the blue waters.
La Cabine Francaise offers a stylish take on glamping with all the indulgences of a luxury hotel. Tucked away in sleepy Dorset, this idyllic location is the perfect place to spend some quality time with your loved one. Leave your stresses behind and unwind at this romantic retreat.
