The captivating interior of this unique hideaway is a colourful haven. With a cosy bed to rest your head after the day's adventures and a kitchen with all the necessities to cook up that well deserved weekend brunch, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's even a wood burner to cosy up by after a chilly winters stroll. This little haven sets the perfect ambience for a romantic retreat off the well-worn-path.
Outside you have the luxury of hopping into your own private hot tub and enjoying the picturesque scenery which surrounds your humble abode. Pour yourself something sparkly and unwind to the sweet sound of nature. As the evening draws to a close, light up the fire pit and gaze up to the star lit sky as you share stories with your loved one. Toby's Hut really is the idyllic spot to reconnect outside of your everyday busy life. The perfect place to take a step back from reality and unwind in the peace and quiet.
The setting really is quite special as the owner is an artist, displaying some of her impressive sculptures within the grounds. You are welcome to wander through the gardens and admire the artwork, during your stay.
Out and About
If you can tear yourself away from this blissful retreat, then there is so much to do nearby. If country walks are your thing, then lace up your walking boots and explore the endless rolling hills that make this area of west Dorset so special. A short distance away are the historic Iron Age hill forts of Coney's Castle and Lambert's Castle, both boasting exceptional countryside views. After you have explored inland, head to the nearby beaches where you can stroll along with the backdrop of millions of years of history in the form of the Jurassic Coast.
Toby's Hut is perfectly situated for exploring both west Dorset and east Devon, being just a short drive from the border. As well as the seaside escapes of Lyme Regis and Charmouth, you are close to Seaton and Beer which all form part of the South West Coast Path; often described as one of the world's greatest walks.
For you foodie lovers, the local pub at The Five Bells Inn serves traditional pub classics in a friendly atmosphere. Lyme Regis offers an abundance of restaurants serving the very best local produce - be sure to try some out-of-this-world Dorset seafood. After your delightful meal, head to the sandy beach where you can sit and watch a glorious sunset over the famous Cobb.

All prices are £ per week per cottage. Where applicable the prices are inclusive of VAT. The prices are specified for Saturday changeover dates.
For weekly holidays or short breaks beginning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the price for the following Saturday applies. For those beginning on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the price for the previous week applies.
Bed linen and towels are included in the price. In addition, many cottages also include electricity and central heating within the price and this should be taken into consideration when comparing prices. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the Web site.
There is a charge of £35 per pet per week or short break.
A non-refundable booking fee of £34 is payable per booking.
