Bespoke built cabin with hot tub in Cornwall. Beautiful, brilliant, bespoke bliss! Barney's Cabin is a gorgeous luxury getaway, perfect for a couple - and with a hot tub, too!
More than a home from home, Barney's Cabin is an idyllic escape, an all-mod-cons, get-away-from-it-all retreat perched in a peaceful meadow on the edge of a wooded valley, and close to the glorious coast of incomparable Cornwall. Spacious, warm and welcoming, the hand-built cabin has a 'modern country' feel that's very Elle Deco, with tongue-and-groove walls, a pitched roof with exposed beams, heaps of double-glazed windows and lovely wooden floorboards. Upside-down in design, the cabin features a bedroom on the ground floor, with a comfortable king-sized bed and underfloor heating, as well as an ensuite shower room that boasts - ta da! - not just hot and cold running water and a proper flushing loo, but a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and storage vanity unit. Yes - a fully fitted, properly kitted-out room with a modern, stylish aesthetic. This is glamping indeed.
A few steps up, a cosy wood-burner warms the open-plan living room, which features a chic sofa with piles of cushions facing a flat-screen TV, a kitchen along one wall (sink, fridge, cooker, loads of storage space…) and a neat dining table and chairs. There's everything you need to cook up a relaxed breakfast, a tasty lunch or a gourmet evening meal - perhaps preceded by a glass of bubbly in the hot tub on your private decked area just outside. Because - why not? If you open up the French doors you can eat al fresco, too, or simply lie back on the sun loungers and have a lazy day, reading the papers or a favourite novel. And if you enjoy cooking in the great outdoors, a barbecue shelf is provided on the deck (simply pop a disposable bbq tray on top) or use the fire pit in the meadow that, incidentally, is a great place for a pampered pooch to bound around. You're in the grounds of the owners' home and Newham House Cottage, but here you're completely private and not overlooked at all. Breathe in, breathe out and that's all there is to it - heavenly relaxation.
Out and About

Just fifteen minutes in the car and you're at Praa Sands, a mile of sand that's great for surfing or simply chilling, while also close at hand are the legendary St Michael's Mount, the impressive outdoor Minack Theatre and the unique landscape of the Lizard peninsula.
Enter into bedroom with king-size double bed (5') and en suite Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin. Steps up to open plan living-room with kitchen and dining-areas with TV, DVD player with Netflix, wood-burner, electric cooker and fridge.
