Shepherd's Hut with hot tub in Devon: In a postcard-pretty rural setting, stunning Apple Blossom is a romantic getaway for two with all the luxury camping mod cons you could possibly want. It's cute as cute can be, with a dash of cool retro colour.
You want upmarket glamping style? Well Apple Blossom has it all. We reckon you'll take one look and fall in love. For a start, there's the location. Tucked into the corner of a peaceful meadow bordered by wildflower hedges and a little stream, this luxury hand-crafted shepherd's hut is wonderfully peaceful, its only neighbour Cherry Blossom, both positioned for secluded privacy. On your patio area you may wish to enjoy a quiet cuppa or a glass of wine, toast a marshmallow or two or perfect your barbecuing skills. Or perhaps just do nothing, admiring the lack of light pollution as the sun sets over another relaxing day from your very own bubbling hot tub. The surprisingly spacious interior is to die for, cosy and comfy, with gorgeous wood fittings cleverly kitting out the space and finishing touches that make it stand out from the crowd. The bed has a deep mattress and fresh cotton linens, while the kitchen boasts a Belfast sink, two-ring hob, mini oven and even a fridge with an ice box. There are lovely touches like wrought iron window fittings, chic curtains and blinds and retro-style crockery, and did we mention the useful stuff like storage space (there's a wardrobe - yes, a wardrobe!) and plug sockets? There is underfloor heating and the wood-burner (logs included) throws out even more heat so winter - or, ahem, a cool English summer evening - is roasty toasty, and there is, naturally, an en suite shower-room with running hot and cold water and even a heated towel rail. You see, it's all been very carefully thought through so you can just switch off, settle down and unwind completely.
Out and About
Rural retreat or shop-tastic day out? The choice is yours. Tree-lined rivers, pretty villages, Dartmoor's rugged beauty… they are all within striking distance. Or take a trip to the towns of Totnes or Dartmouth, or the city of Exeter, where retail therapy awaits. You might want to explore the long, sandy beaches of the South Hams, but if you're tired out, the pub down the road is only a stroll away and does top-notch food. Would it be too much to say that this location has it all? We don't think so.
Steps up to open plan living-room with kitchen, dining and bedroom areas with double bed, wood-burner, TV/DVD player, electric cooker (2 ring hob and mini oven), fridge, kettle and toaster. Door to Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin.
