Shepherd's Hut in Cornwall: Our glamping bolthole is as beautiful inside as out, its eye-candy interior complementing the dramatic planting outside. Who needs to go abroad when you can holiday in the tropics of West Cornwall?
In this unspoilt corner of the far, far West, The Shepherd's Hut at Georgia Bridge sits in an oasis of tranquillity, its gravelled sun-lounging and barbecue area surrounded by tropical plants, with fields beyond, a babbling brook to lull you to sleep and nothing else but vast skies and solitude. Just getting here is an adventure in itself, off the beaten track and through winding lanes full of wildflowers in spring and summer - and yet you're only a few minutes drive from perennially popular St Ives and the pretty town of Marazion. Pull up at your individual parking space and you'll find a superbly hand-crafted shepherd's hut where every last detail has been thought through. It's across from the Owner's home but you'll be perfectly private here, and you can soak up the rays, cook up a feast or simply chillax without a care in the world.
The hand-crafted hut, beautifully designed with a 'modern country' look, is kitted out for the perfect luxury camping experience, from the king-sized bed with a deep, comfy mattress to the flat-screen TV and en suite shower room - where you'll get hot and cold running water, a proper flushing loo and a rather glamorous shower cubicle. There's even a heated towel rail for extra toastiness. Speaking of which, the open-plan living space boasts under-floor heating, but there's a cute wood-burner, too, should you feel the need for some fireside warmth. And if you want to get your chef's hat on and whip up a gourmet meal, no problem. The bespoke fitted kitchen has loads of shelf and cupboard space, a small oven and two-ring hob, and a microwave to speed things up. It's all about taking time out from everyday life - there's not even a phone signal here, so you won't be interrupted with work calls (though you can get a good signal just a short stroll up the lane if necessary). With artwork, books and pretty accessories, this home-from-home is the last word in comfort and style. We'll just warn you now - you might never want to leave.
Out and About
Hop in the car for a short drive to the ever-popular town of St Ives, where there are award-winning beaches, bijou shops, an array of cafés, restaurants and pubs and, of course, plenty of art galleries. Even closer is interesting Marazion, neighbouring the majestic St Michael's Mount, while just around the bay are the market town of Penzance and the pretty little fishing village of Mousehole, both of which offer still more art and craft galleries, excellent restaurants and welcoming pubs.
Steps up to open plan living-room with kitchen, dining and bedroom areas with king-size double bed, wood-burner, TV, electric cooker (2 ring hob and mini oven), microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Door to Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin.

St Michael's Mount
This local landmark looks like something straight out of a fairytale; a medieval castle perched on top of a little tidal island, complete with cobbled streets and even its own harbour and gardens. ...
The Cornish theatre with real ‘wow’ factor is the Minack. Perched on the cliffs at Porthcurno, the Minack is an open-air theatre-in-the-round – and a triumph of vision over reality.
Porthminster Beach Cafe
One restaurant, one beach, one menu, one excellent approach to food. Recommended in the Times (2012) as one of the top five places to eat fish!
